One of the things they taught us in business school is to have a slogan and a mission that cannot be swapped to virtually anything on earth and still work.
If only reading the slogan or mission you should be able to identify, uniquely, what it is for and what it is trying to accomplish without any more contexts. IMO the current one up there is too generic, and kind of pretentious. Squeeze the essence of the saab brand and what this forum is trying to accomplish into one sentence... Then have a paragraph version for the mission.
Place that "technical, social, intellectual, global" on virtually any other foreign / luxury auto forum and it still works. So to me its meaningless.

I'm not sure, this will take a lot of thought, though I know somewhere in Saab's past they've ended a commercial with a clever line that might work.
