Tire suggestions: '04 Aero Wagon
Looking for suggestions for new tires for my 04 Aero Wagon
Tire size is 225/45- 17
I'm fairly conservative so warranty and low road noise are important to me. Also $200 per tire is the most I'd be willing to spend. 150 would be nice.
Continental ExtremeContact DWS looks to be a good option. Let me know.

It seems you can't go wrong with the ExtremeContact. For some reason, I can't get used to the new ExtremeContact profile. I like symmetrical tire profiles.
I am a fan of Yokohama tires myself because they last and are quiet. I used to have the YK520 on my 2001 9-5 and liked those.

I currently have the Avid W4S and like those as well. I am pretty sure my next 3-season tires are going to be the Avid ENVigor from Yokohama. They have an XL load rating which is recommended for the 9-5 wagon.

I would also consider the Dunlop SP Sport.

Here are some other views on choosing a tire brand.

As Niskanem is in the Midwest, there can be a wide range in temperatures and road conditions in Spring and Fall. While summer tires probably would be better some of the time, 3-season tires are a much better choice if you experience colder temperatures and possible ice and snow when you don't have winter tires on your car yet.
And it seems A/S tires generally last so much longer than summer tires.

Thanks for all the info guys!
I've had great luck with running running All Seasons all year round. I live in the city and only get a few days where the roads are real nasty, then I just work from home.
I will probably go with discount for the $100 instant rebate and will opt for a tire with the XL rating as recommended so I've narrowed it down to the following mostly based on brand and user ratings:

And it looks like the Yokohama has a better tread rating though there is no treadlife warranty

That $100 Michigan rebate is excellent. I wonder if you can get the additional Yokohama $40 rebate as well.

Thanks Frank.
I actually got the Yokohama AVID ENVigor (W) on order. I didn't see them on the site but they recommended them over the phone. It does not look like they are covered by the$40 rebate but at least I get the $100.
I wasn't able to use the link because I could not find the tires on the site. I did feel bad not using the link so I sent a paypal donation for the site. That was prior to your plug

The P-Zero Nero tire you linked to looks like it could be a summer tire, even though it doesn't specify it in the description. How about the P-Zero Nero All-season? Has a much better thread rating and is less expensive as well.

Yeah. I think my out the door price was about $600 so pretty close considering shipping, mounting/bal and future rotations and balancing.
