    Saab 9-4X sighting

I was on my way to Ikea (metro Detroit area) to get some lunch and my eye caught this 4 lanes over. Many have seen the 9-4X at autoshows and in the pictures but I was quite excited to spot my first one on the road.

It was quite busy and it took while to get behind it. I followed it for a while and took some more pictures when it was parked. Stickers in the window showed it was part of a test fleet and there was a parking tag of the GM Powertrain - Pontiac Campus in the window. Interesting to see GM is still testing Saabs.

Best looking crossover ever! Apologies for the crappy picture quality of my mobile phone.

    2001 9-5 Aero Wagon

    Not Fair!

I'm in Michigan too, and I only just saw my first new 9-5 last week. It'll probably be another 6 months before I get to see a 9-4x in the wild. Thanks for sharing your pics tho. And nice wagon of your own, btw.

I saw a new black 9-5 Aero on Woodward in Birmingham today. Looks like no other car on the road.

I still have yet to see a new 9-5 in the wild. The 9-7x probably has to be the second most common Saab I see, right after the NG900/9-3, so I'm hoping I'll see a lot more 9-4x's around.

Your photos are good . Nice find .It looks good indeed even if I'm not interested by SUV's in general.

It looked like it was the regular non-Aero model because it had wood trim in the interior. Not much other info so this is pretty much it as far as write-ups go.

Good eye, Wulf. I like how you stalked it to the parking lot, then posed your 9-5 beside it

Make something up. Isn't that how many of the motoring presses operate ?

Not gonna lie. It looks like another boring GM SUV to me. I doubt I would have even noticed that it was a Saab had I seen it on the road. :/ Unfortunate because I'd really like to be interested in the new products Saab devlops.
