    Cars that I can afford?

Well there's a MkII Jetta GLI down the street for $750...

    2003 Saab 9-5 ARC ( and care-taker of a '98 900SE)
    Mercedes C-Class

It's the right size, has decent power, a nice looking interior, and they start at $33k.

    Or an Audi A3 Diesel.

    Same reasons as the Mercedes.

    I'd take:

M-B C-Class sedan and coupe (agree with J-Rod):

MINI Countryman (I'm strangely attracted to them)

    And the Jaguar XFR:

I knew I wasn't the only person here who thinks the Fusion is a good looking car!

I think it would look cool as a wagon.

A 9 4X would be number one on my list. 9 3 convertible would go a close second though I miss a hard top, and the new 9 5 would go third.

Did I mention I really like SAAB?

Oops, kind of skipped over the 9-4x.

I can't wait to see one on the road and as soon as Just Saab has a couple on their lot I'm going to drive one.

It's a bit surprising not many mentions a Saab in this thread.

I wish I was as wealthy as SaabKen and be able to afford an S5 or XFR! Unfortunately, US$25K for a new car would be my max. So for a base 9-3 with discounts, that's about it for me when it comes to Saabs. I really like the 9-4X but would be out of my range when buying new.

I'm waiting to see what the new Saab hatchback looks/performs like (if it comes to production)

    Barring that, ABARTH ESSESSE
