Any Nikon D700 users here ?

I need to dive into the 21st century with a DSLR body. All my Nikon gear was acquired between 2000-2006, centered on F90X(N90S) and an FE2. Plenty o' lenses and accessories, but they're just sittin' there without a digi body to attach to.

So I might buy a D700 body this year. Would like to hear what others think of it.

PS: I don't want a DX body, I only want FX format so all my Nikkor AF-D's can just slap on with a 1:1 crop.

No, I didn`t know KR had/has Saabs.
I have never gotten to his car reviews. I always get stuck at his photos, and kill my freetime looking them, and reading the lens reviews.
Especially the last few weeks. I decided to upgrade my gear, and looking for a good lens with decent price for my Canon Eos 20D.
