Having trouble with my Xenon headlights

I've been having quite a bit of trouble lately with my headlights.

First off, the control module went on the drivers side.
Got a replacement, worked fine for a short while, and it died.
Decided to swap them around to see if it was something wrong in the headlights themselves ... nope, the drivers side worked, nothing on the passenger side.
I have since had 2 control modules in the passenger side, both have died.

No, keeping in mind that this started on the drivers side, it makes no sense that it is still working and the passenger side is now causing issues.
The last unit lasted about 2 weeks.

I originally thought it was the bulbs I used as replacements for the ones that Frank installed about 100,000 miles ago.
So I got the identical pair and installed them.
Not as happy with the 4300K as I was with the 5000K bulbs, but hell, anything is better working than something that is not ...
    But, that wasn't it.

    Any thoughts???

What kind of bulbs were they? The wrong kind can cause the control module to fail.

Sylvania? Can't recall the brand off the top of my head, but I can tell you that during my time at Aktive Motors, we installed dozens and dozens of them ... without issue.
They are the OE replacement, whichever the brand.

Either way, it is the same bulb, both sides, so I don't believe it is the bulb doing this.

Exactly what would a Tech2 do for me in this instance?
I've had 3 years being around a Tech2 and a master tech who developed some of the programming for it ... not once have I seen or heard anything that the Tech2 would be able to do in this situation.

Isn't Tech2 able to troubleshoot or test certain components? I thought it was something like OBD-II but much more advanced.

That is exactly what it is ... but it still has its limits.
I may stop by Aktive on Saturday and see what the expert can find, I'm just not going to hold my breath.

Just guessing here but could it be a faulty headlight relay?

    Did Aktive check it out?
