    Condensation inside the lights

well, with the weather changes here lately, I've noticed that I see condensation INSIDE the side marker lights (on fenders just in front of the front doors) and the one tail light. I'm not sure if its a major problem, but it has me worried over time the moisture might cause the light socks to corrode/rust.I'll have to get some time and call the dealer to see if there is anything they can do.

I have seen it in my tail light once but it went away quickly. I also noticed it a few times near the Saab logo on the hatch. I doubt it will cause any problems but it is difficult to tell with a new vehicle like the 9-4X.

Even if it doesn't cause problems, it is disappointing to have something like that in a new car.

I'm in Seattle with lots of rain, so this showed up right away in my lights. Dealer replaced both outside tail lights -- one had lots of water inside the other just condensation. The rear center light also shows some condensation as do the two new replacements.

its been sunny and over 60 degress the past few weeks. Even with one or two days of Rain, nights in the upper 30's/low 40's (dew on the grass and cars in the morning), and a car wash, not condensation/moisture in my lights anymore.

I just hope it stays that way.

I had my 94x in for warranty repairs to replace front right wheel bearing, struts and rear engine seal. The warranty will not cover my left rear tail light on which the led does not work because of moisture. My right led tail light is starting to act up too .Sometimes it works then it doesn't. I'm trying to get help from GM but not going good so far. I'll post updates as I go along.

It was the one GM was offering when we bought the vehicle. I can't find a name but the po box is Deerfield, IL.

Good for you! Many of us who bought before bankruptcy lost their warranties. Fortunately, nothing severe has gone wrong in the 30K we will soon have on it. Plus our awesome dealer (Saab of Memphis) is covering scheduled service for us, but that kind of dealer is in the minority. We appreciate them very much! Enjoy your ride.

This happens on a lot of cars, it is nothing I would be worried about FYI.
