Different color xenon lights

one of my xenon bulbs is a dimish purple it cant be the bulb i was wondering if its the transformer maybe? if anyone knows help would be greatly appreciated!

Why can't it be the bulb? Typically the bulbs turn a dimish purple or pink when they are on there way out.

A ballast could be going bad too.

A few weeks ago I was having an issue with my left xenon. Everything I read said the same thing and people here backed it up. When your xenons go bad they will start to change color, usually purple or pink.

Look around online, dealers have almost 100% markup on them!

Has it always been this color or did it slowly change? How old is the bulb? If it always was this color and there is a difference in color between left and right, there may be different color/temperature bulbs in your car.

Mine is not as pink in that picture the but I figured it couldn't be the bulb because it flickers Wen I accelerate and occasionally turns off by itself I figured if the bulb was bad it would be out completely, and since there xenon bulbs I thought they had transformers not ballasts? Or is it a diffrent type of ballast ? And the car has been doing this since February when I bought it so I don't really know how long the bulb has been that color and thanks for all the speedy feed back !

Mine did flicker when it started to go. When I turned on the lights, it would stay on for about 20 seconds, then flicker on and off for a few minutes, then it would go completely out. It did that for weeks before it completely died.

And what did u do to fix it? And my bulb stays on Just will shut off every so often and come right back on, but does flicker upon acceleration

Replaced both bulbs. No problems since. I used these bulbs. They're the best quality for the price.

that's a good price for a quality brand. One of my bulbs is turning slightly pink so I know I should replace them soon. At least before the dark days of winter. Thanks for the link.
