i found a vacuum hose disconnected, can somebody please help?
hello i have a 01 saab 9-5 SE i found this hose disconnected under the battery tray while i was getting to the abs module. it has a connecter on the end but i have no idea where it goes, i tried to look around but with no luck. i also found this circle shaped rubber piece sitting on top of the transmission. if anybody can please help me out i would greatly appreciate it so much. thank you.

You happen to know where the other end leads? I didn't think vacuum tubes had valves/turns in them.

i can trace it, it goes into the front area of the car, maybe is this a battery acid drain? because the 2002 9-5's had a battery box

anybody can please help? , i want to assemble everything back together but this part has got me confused, also any idea on that rubber piece?

My first thought was a hose for the headlamp washers because the washer fluid reservoir is in the left front fender. Just a guess though.

im pretty sure the headlight water sprayer is working but i will verify that, i might need to take the car in for some recall work, maybe i can ask a mechanic there.

It looks like a battery vent/snorkel hose.

thank you for the reply. yes that was the vent hose for the battery.
