Thank you for that advice Shazam and everything you've helped me with so far! I owe you a few beers! LOL!

I tried to open the clamp on the fuel regulator today and it stripped with no pressure at all. I'm going to try to find a way to open it hopefully with some vicegrips or something but I called to get a replacement clamp and since Saab is going bankrupt they aren't releasing any parts yet. Does anyone have a source for getting this clamp?

I pray 2012 is better for me on fixing this Saab.

I'm not exactly sure what the clamp is (I'll check tomorrow), but I haven't seen one around on any sites or anything.

    And no problem!

Fuel system, Fuel rail 4 Cylinder 4 Cylinder Turbo,. Fits: 1999 Saab 9-3 | Jim Ellis Saab Parts

Found the clamp part number after a lot of searching.
    9542424 for the clamp
    7978380 for the screw.

The link, pretty helpful, they show diagrams for most parts needed. I did manage to call them but they do not have the parts instock and cannot order for another week (maybe). After that the bankruptcy part should be getting done and they will be able to get parts again.

I bought a hardened bolt and cleaned up the clamp to pretty much brand new, I don't see any abnormal wear on it so I'm going to reuse it. As soon as the coolant sensor gets here tomorrow I can button her up and finally see if she'll run perfect again. *crossing fingers*

I didn't go through with the check valve on top of the fuel pump; I'm going to pray that it's not the culprit and see what happens when I start it when it's cold.

    Parts replaced:

    Air temperature sensor
    Crank sensor
    Coolant sensor
    Fuel pressure regulator
    New sparkplugs
    Cleaned AIC
    Vacuum hoses

I hope the last reply I make to this thread is that the problem is fixed! I'll try to take some pictures in case someone needs this help in the future.

Crank sensor is replaced. Car is working great right now but it's warm still. I guess I'll find out for sure once it gets cold out. Thank you all for your help especially Shazam!
