They are right behind the rear seat, on both sides. They are 6x9 in size, and pretty much all "normal" sized 6x9's will fit; don't go for really deep ones, you might run into some trouble there. Just pop off the speaker grilles, and then the screws are torx heads, but you'll have trouble fitting a screw driver in there. So you either need a bent bit, or just the torx tip and an open ended wrench, or just the torx tip and some vise grips. And you can remove the C-pillar covers if you'd like. They should just pop off if you carefully pull on a side and work your way around.

Taken from this site 900SAAB.com: SAAB Audio Upgrade
"Your typical 900S came with a cassette deck in dash and four speakers: two 4.5" full range speakers in the dash and two midrange 6" x 9" speakers in the rear. All SAAB 900's came factory wired for a rear CD player. SE models came with an amplifier mounted in the front center console and two additional low-range 6.5" speakers in the front door. S trim level SAAB's did not get the amplifier, door speakers or the needed wiring to install either."
So unless you Aussie's got something different... I'm confused.Free SaabWorld Stickers
