Quriky .. but a good CPO ending
I had been in touch with my bud and former rally partner who just got a 2008 Combi under the CPO.
Six months later, each time he gets gas a code gets thrown and each time he gets out (we do not pump our own gas in Jersey), snugs the cap again and a few miles later away it goes. He figures it is just the gas attendants being loose as a goose with his cap?
So he scheduled .... right in the middle of the shoot out this month ... and gets in with Perrine of Cranbury NJ. They put on a new throttle body gratis under the CPO .. note .. he bought the car at a non-GM dealer.
Nice to hear GM took care of him.
But is this what we mean by Saab Quirky .... hence class, one can conclude that a loose gas cap will ruin a throttle body!Semper ubi sububi in caput tuum
