    Upgrading halogen lamps to bi-xenons

Hello fellow Saab enthusiasts. I am customizing my headlights to bi-xenons. Aside from the headlamps
I have the ballasts and leveling sensors. Is there anything else I should need before attempting this project.
Do I need to re-wire my vehicle(2002 9-5 aero sportcombi)? I'm fully aware that this is a complicated procedure.
Any advice would be grateful. Thanks in advance.

So you're going from the basic halogens to the factory xenon system? I think you'll need at the very least the front end harness for the headlamps, fogs, temp sensor etc. You'll also need to source the intermediate harnesses for the front and rear gravity (level sensors.) I'd like to believe that your car being an Aero is partially pre-wired for this already but personal experience shows that this probably isn't the case. If you have WIS or if someone on here can post the wiring diagrams for both the halogen and xenon systems, you can do a side by side comparison to see whats missing.

Where did you source load sensors from? I have been looking for them here in canada for last two days and they are coming back as on long term backorder everywhere I checked

Yes, that is my goal. It looks like I will need to get more parts. Thanks for the speedy reply. I'm liking this site every day.

I got lucky. I met this guy who was parting out his saab(2002 9-5 aero sedan). I bought his xenon headlamps, ballast, and sensors. As well as his abs unit for spare.
You should call gold wing saab parts. i know he still has the rear sensors(used) for $65. As for the front sensors try Eeuro parts I know my friend just got his from them.
unfortunately he had to wait for ten days to get it. Hope this helps.
