    Sputter 2500 - 3k range

I'm getting a little engine sputter under moderate acceleration around 2500 - 3000 RPMs... it is not a hard buck or anything just a little sputter, hard to notice without concentrating on it. I just changed the spark plugs, NGKs from dealership, double checked the gap before installing. other than that I have not done anything.

The car is a 2004 Aero 2.3 Auto with about 95k on it.

I know there is not a ton of info here but thought maybe the RPM range may be tell-tale for someone with more experience then I.

    Thanks for looking.

If my 9-5 was doing what you describe I would clean my throttle body and give it a test drive. Next I would swap out the direct ignition cassette from a friend's car to see if there was any change in behavior. I don't have much faith that either of these will solve the issue; but they're quick, easy and cheap places to start until someone else on the board come up with a better idea.

    That's my understanding.
I checked online and the '04 9-3 ARC SS isn't on the list I looked up. Looks like there was major changes for the 2004 and newer 9-3. But I'm not familiar with anything except the 9-5, to be honest.
