Removing ignition Cylinder when key wont turn cylinder 2001 9.5
I have to replace ignition cylinder on a 2001 9.5 , I know you have to press in on the side and then rotate the key, my problem is the reason im replacing the cylinder as key turns with no resistance .so when i try to remove cylinder when i push in the on the side when i turn the key it does nothing, (turning key does nothing) does anyone know what to do, any help would be much appreciated

I recall seeing a procedure involving a slide hammer to remove the barrel. Screw it into the key slot and then slide upwards.
