    Removal of side orange reflectors?

    Hello all,

I was considering removing part the orange reflectors out of the side/corner head lights to give it a more euro look. Any advice on how going on about this would be greatly appreciated. Only serious input not lame comments please.

I should note I saw a video where the guy pulled out the bulb and with needle nose pliers broke the orange reflector into pieces and then pulled it out that way. By no means do I want to go that route, I was just looking for some input if anybody ever did this alternate ways. Thank again

I saw that video as well and it seems like that's the only way to do it without having to open the housing. Genuine Saab sells clear replacements but they are a bit pricey. They look nice though with the silver part.

The DIY method is a little "iffy" for me. I've done it with the 900/9-3 corner lamps with mixed success but being that the '02+ 9-5 corners are so expensive, I'm just not willing to chance screwing one or both of them up. Partsforsaabs.com also sells the 'genuine' clear indicators (same ones Saab uses but in a different box) for cheaper but they hammer you on the shipping. eBay UK is a good source if you can find them on an auction or Buy It Now for cheap. My lady friend in Sweden was able to set me up with a new pair for $133, but I have no idea where she got them from.
