Drove 400 more km/s. What I dislike
- Noise isolation is not good enough. And that car does not have any wild 3 inch exhaust or studs.
- Already several interior sounds from different parts (driver door button (which goes up and down) makes sound, something in front dash under windshield makes sound, boot cover makes sound, something in the rear also makes sounds), when drive on not good road – that is annoying. Many interior details are squeaky (that carbon style thing on dash for example), which are not making sounds until you touch them, but I think that’s not good
- When I use R on slow speed there is strange sound like “not fixed luggage in the boot”. I do not know what makes it, probably XWD system or rear suspension
- Strange sound while steering on slow speed occurred today , probably something with electro hydraulic
- Some gaps in interior could be better.
- Can’t play videos from USB flash, can you USB hard drive
- Suspension feels smooth but lots of bad feedback from potholes.
- I do not like realization of “S” and “C” mode. I would prefer to set every parameter myself. I do like stiff suspension and hard steering but I like sensitive throttle pedal. And I want to tune it that way.
- And when SAAB will be reborn – please stop using crappy engine + gearbox combos which can’t work without vibrations.

There are a noises coming from the rear of my 9-4X. It is mostly when it has been sitting in the cold for a while so hopefully it gets better in summer. It sound like plastic panels and only happens when you're going over bumps. Which means I hear it a lot on Michigan roads in winter.
There is a very annoying sound coming from the headliner just above my ahead. It sounds like adhesive not sticking good enough. The glass roof makes quite a lot of noise when it is covered with snow/ice. More noise and rattles than I expected in a brand new car. My 6 year old 9-5 was much better..
I noticed the dash doesn't line up with the door panels very good.
My 9-4X got a little bit smoother after a few months. Perhaps yours will improve as well.

Its -6 C here and im on 20inch stock summer tires, definitely it will be better on summer weather. BUT on snow roads it handled really well for the car which got summer tyres on.

Things i do not like about key and unlocking system:
1) Key does not show status of vehicle, it is unclear if the car started or not, if the car locked or not
2) If the car started up - you can drive away with no key inside.
3) I do not like that car opens door on park mode, i prefer as 9-5 opened door on ignition off.

1) Do not like seatbelts they are twisted or something. 9-5 got much better.

today on cold start i had rough idle, not stable RPM. Not nice, but maybe there are known problems on 2.8T i have to check?

- 2011 9-4x, 2008 9-3 Aero, had 2005 9-3 Arc, '93 9000CSE, '86 9000Turbo
i had that too... But with the 75+ degree F weather yesterday and today, that sound all but went away.
I had creaks and stuff with my 2005 9-3 that went away after the Hot/Cold weather changes. Its starting to seem like the 9-4x is going to provide me the same experience in that respect.
