Today at Kellermann SAAB, I found out that the reason my CD player isn't working is my CD changer is broken, the dealer tested the radio/CD-controller unit itself and it's OK, the problem is with the Clarion changer.
Anyone have any clue where can I get one new? SAAB doesn't sell that through the dealership, although there is a part number for it: 4221230.
I will end up buying one used to replace it, but the transport company offers full value insurance and needs a price quote for a new changer. Any help is appreciated.

I think I might still have my old Clarion changer hanging around. I'll take me two weeks to check to see if I've got it stored away though. Won't be going there until then. You can have it for the price of shipping if I've got it.

I should mention that I don't know if it works. I took it out because I didn't have a magazine for it when I bought the car, I later installed an iPod hook up... no need for CD changer.

Jim Ellis lists it for $840: CD-player. Electric equipment, other, Audio system for 1998 Saab 900 (4221230)
It seems they list mostly the standard prices without discounts so that's a fair value to use for insurance purposes.
