    That makes the "GM - NORTH AMERICA MAP UPDATE - DENSO GLOBAL A - V.2014 SKU# 23175134" for the 2011 SRX $159.99.
Ok gang ... I took the plunge and the disc has already shipped. With any luck it will be here by the 20th and I'll give it a try in the event you all want to get the discounted price.

I loaded my SAAB VIN in, and the site took it ... no spoofing required.

    Will keep you posted.

Today is the last day for the discount... I'm torn. Knowing

brownieone ordered I'd like to wait for confirmation, but $40 off plus free ground shipping is tempting, along with the old email from the saab parts people saying it will work. Hmm... What to do?

While I use google maps on my phone the most, there are still enough times I just key an address into the Saab's GPS instead. So having updated maps in the car would be great.

I guess I'll wait a little longer. Now that someone has ordered to try, maybe being out $160 if it doesn't work, is worse than waiting and being out $200 + shipping after knowing it does work.

And brownieone, THANK YOU for taking the chance and ordering!!!!

An update on the 2014 NAV Disc Update ... okay, so the sale at the NAVTEQ site runs through today ... 20% off and free shipping ... and my disc arrived today. I got the one for our Cadillac twin. It's called "Denso Global A High Nav 2014." I put the CD into my NAV and it read it just fine. I did not complete the installation yet as it will take 95 minutes of the car running, and since it is Friday evening, I'm not doing any driving. However, I am very, very confident that this disc will update our 9-4Xs. The pictures show the instructions, and they are pretty simple. I will load the software this weekend, and follow-up here when complete, but by that time, the 20% discount will have expired ... which is why I am here giving you a "nearly sure" it will work post. Proceed at your own risk if you are after the discount. Good luck.

I thought they just used the USB port to load and reflash updates - at least that's how Cadillac does it on the XTS, ATS, SRX and so on. We do the same with the NG9-5 No disc needed. Then again that just may be the operating system as opposed to the MAP data itself. NVM.

That's just the operating system via the USB ... ... and why I decided to take the chance with the Caddy NAV disc in my 9-4X. I didn't see any chance of losing my SAAB logo on my nav at start-up.

Mark ... you will be very happy. 100% success here!

Though it is the CY14 disc, the version is 2013.02 ... which I hope means the second (and final) update they did in 2013 and that the "2" does not represent "February."

It took about a week for the disc to get to me ... interestingly from a warehouse in Memphis.

Cool thanks again for trying first!

i got tracking number already, but FedEx hasn't picked up yet. i might get it this week even with the holiday.

As as for the version, as long as it is the same as my mom's Buick Verano's maps, it should have my neighborhood on it now

This is really good news! Probably means for us in Europe that the EU versions of the 9-4X and the 9-5NG should also be upgradeable with the right DVD. Not sure if Cadillac actually sells EU map updates, but worth checking out and otherwise do some further investigation on the earlier rumors around Landrover as an alternative.
