Being a novice to the subject, I suppose I shouldn't respond on your issue, having seen the efforts so far spent in vain in finding the numbers requested. I take the risk anyway, knowing you just can ignore this reply.
I've spent quite some time on the internet without finding qualified answers with regard to P/N of the rotors. What I've found is that it seems like you can have either of three dimensions of the front rotors, note: Brake pads and rotors for 2012 Saab 9-3 2.0t xwd models w/ 302mm front brake rotors - Frozen Rotors,
select "choose make" and so on, and find 302-, 314- and 345mm for the 2.8L XWD - given this is your version (?).
Going to the Brembo pages: Brembo | Aftermarket Catalogue,
one will see that for the 9-3X 2.0 T XWD is the rotor diameter "rim-dependant", i.e. larger rim = larger rotors.
You didn't tell which kind of conflicting model numbers you get, however if it's between the "Brake Selection What the Codes are" (reference to which kindly provided by Shazam!) and what you have on the car, the wheel dimensions may be the cause.
So at the end of the day, is maybe the only way of finding a qualified answer to measure the front - and rear rotors fitted on your 9-3, as proposed on one site I noticed.Last edited by 9-3 Aero; 12 May 2013 at 13:47.

Thanks for your speedy reply 9-3 Aero, looks like I'm going to have to take a measurement the next time I take a wheel off. (which i just did for both front and back while replacing tires)

OK guys, here is what I found out for my car. It's a 2010 9-3 XWD NON Aero model. My front discs are 314mm just like the door sill plate says. I ordered some Posi Quiet Ceramic pads from Amazon.com part number 105.12570, for get this, UNDER $50 SHIPPED to my home for FREE. Was taking a chance because I wasn't sure. My mechanic checked for me before he did the work and as the door sill says, all is correct. USE Amazon, they are the cheapest I found so far for ceramic pads.

Hi, does anybody know is there any other way to get the brake codes (AA, AB, BA...) using car VIN number except thesaabsite.com? I tried to find these codes in the Saab EPC but I don't see them anywhere
