I made the OMSI connection, then looked up the bridge on Google Maps, and to tell the truth I never noticed the sub until you mentioned it!

It's far away from Cannes and rpiereck lived in Brazil. I am guessing Rio de Janeiro but I can't find a picture to confirm.

I later went on that train of thought too.

My first reaction to the picture is: "That's where I want to be NOW" (well, get rid of all them bloody people first)

I started Googling "red white beach parasols". Found this picture and looked very familiar to what we were looking for:

Finally found the picture of Haeundae beach - Busan in South Korea. Pretty far from Rio as well..

5 Best Tourist Attractions In South Korea:World Tourist Attractions

Largest number of beach umbrellas @ Haeundae Beach sets world record in Busan, South Korea with 7,937 multihued parasols that turned the beige sand into a sea of blue, red, white and pink. Haeundae is the most popular summer playground and is always (over)crowded. It is reported that 300,000 people packed the beach.
    That's a lot of people.

The circular drive looks suspicious. I think I have been there but the modern round building (cut off the left) wasn't at the place that I visited. Maybe it is new? Or a different place? Baden-Württemberg state? That's a big state.
