I regularly "make" Chevron-like gas for my 1999 Saab (adding about 1 oz. of concentrated Techron per tank to cheaper gas sold at very high volume stations). Since it seems to work, I will probably do it to my new car someday.

I've always used the RedLine SI-1 Fuel System Cleaner. If you can't get this at automotive stores go to a powersports shop and see if they've got it.
