Steering Play atParking Lot Speed and Gas Pedal Buzz
I've noticed a slight dead spot/play in the steering at low speed when changing direction. It tracks like a missile on the hwy, though. Control arm bushing, perhaps? Only 22K but previous owner hails from pothole country.
Another thing I may simply not be used to but there seems to be a LOT of feedback through the gas pedal on this car, it's super buzzy feeling. It's not terrible but on a long trip you'd have some nerve damage without cruise. Is this the "recirculation flap" from the throttle body? Is that normal?
I should probably mention that it threw a P1011 yesterday, too. And so it begins...Last edited by dbb; 22 March 2012 at 16:01.

I think I'm looking at worn front end components, solenoid for the P1110, and Saab charm to blame for the pedal. I'll report back after service.

What year is your 9-5? Please update your profile when you have a moment.
I never had any feedback through the gas pedal on any of my 9-5 so that seems unusual. If there are only 22K miles on your car, perhaps it just needs a front-end alignment.
