Cool!! I actually now live in Burlington, so no need to drive through Middlebury. I should update that information...

Do we have any idea where he'll go next, after me? Like I said, I can find a good home (hell, Threepwood sounds like a better car than the one my girlfriend picked up, a slightly rusty, molested 2.1 with an automatic) or I can pass him on to another worthy driver until we find someone who really needs a car.

What is a "cursed floor ruster"? Those noise-deadening pads under the carpet?
Ask me a question about your c900! I promise I either can answer it or know someone who can

Only if your car leaks or has leaked. Read heater valve/matrix faulty and/or ventilation intake blocked. Fortunately both my cars are as good as the day they left the factory. If you do get a leak, lift the carpet and dry them out.

I've seen mine a few times, and they've always been bone-dry, but I think I've been lucky... My sunroof drains haven't leaked at all!

The sunroof only leaks into the cabin if the drains are blocked. The rear drain holes drain out through the rear air vents and the front ones into the front wings (fenders). Sometimes the rear drain hoses become unclipped and loose from inside the rear vents. Then they drain into the rear wing arch and fill the boot (trunk) up. And start rust inside the arch.

Threepwood has no sunroof? I think the wing windows need the seal pounded back into place. The repair was on the passenger rear area. I used 16G steel and 32 3/16" SS pop rivets. Stronger than new. Seam sealed it as well. Needs undercoating and good for 100K You could also weld if you like, but it always lights the undercoating on fire and drips flaming balls of fire onto my wooden floored garage.

Sam could you transact a title transfer this coming Saturday?

Will be up to you, would like to see him move about the country a bit.

Threepwood is off on Leg one of his journey. My wife and I will be leaving on Thursday evening heading for Vermont and into the care of Sam Carlson.
Sam will take ownership of Threepwood at no cost, will drive him for a while (to be determined) then on to the next leg. Thinking down the East Coast somewhere?
    Any takers?

Have a bunch of current condition pics I will post tonight.

When Threepwood gets to the Southwest, I'd be honored to take a turn.

I unfortunately have to back out of the deal. I originally thought I would be able to take on another car, but I think costs and my current life situation are prohibitive. Jeff, I'll take you out for a beer in Burlington for your troubles. I feel really bad about this, and I hope I can make amends. I know that it would have been worse karma to take up Threepwood and get him off to a bad start than it would to back out of the deal now while there is still time to go back.
