1986 Clarion radio

I have a 1986 clarion hi end radio out of a 1986 900t. I would like to install it in my 1989 900t. I know the wiring diagram for the car however I do not know the wiring diagram for the radio. I have 12 wires of various color including black matt, black shinny, yellow , orange, red/white, white/black, brown or maybe violet,as well as others. Any help with the radio wiring would be greatly appreciated. I do not have the harnesses that go with the radio.

The U.S. 1989 900 Clarion radio had a black sleeve that the radio slid into. In those days, radio theft was common so they made a radio that could be removed. If you don't have the sleeve, you probably could still install it. In those days, Crutchfield has a big seller of mail order kits that helped you install the radio and make it fit well. They had wiring harnesses and adaptors to fit a DIN sized radio into a larger hole. I think they are still around.
