    Cabin air filter replacement

Not too hard, just don't break the connectors in the first step.

    1. Park the windshield wipers vertical or remove the right wiper. To park
the windshield wiper, turn the ignition to on, then off and immediately push
the windshield wiper stalk down (one sweep mode).

    2. Remove the right (when facing the car, it is left) plastic rivet by
    pushing in the center.

    3. Partially remove the long piece of weatherstripping.

    4. Hold down the lateral edge of the rectangular foam bumper and
lift up the medial edge. Carefully loosen the large flat black plastic cover.
Careful not to rip off the black foam.

    5. Flip up the two clips holding the filter. The catch is to the side and
the hinge is up. The clip swings up. Don't break the clip off. Remove
    the filter.

    6. Use a damp rag or paper towel to clean the debris in the area, including
the black oval drain. Replace the filter, noting the correct orientation of the
air flow. Refit the cover, weatherstrip, and wiper. When replacing the cover,
notice that there are clips that fit under the windshield and press the center
of the cover to engage the clips in the center right of the cover.

    Part number is 93172129

EDIT: Hey, someone just asked this question on another board so, rather
than write a response, I just posted a link to here!

I'd love to see a sticky filled with "common maintenance/upgrade" how-tos for a variety of tasks like this. It's so easy once you see how.

Edit: Ha, there is a tutorial subform. I must be blind. Should tuck this in there.
