    Floor mats for the 9-5

I ordered some Weathertech floor mats for my 9-5 based on my good experience witht he ones for the 9-4X/SRX. Unfortunately, they are generic floor mats and they don't fit the 9-5 very well. There are no holes for the floor anchors, they obstruct the gas pedal from going all the way and they just don't lay flat on the floor. I'll be returning them. Shipping won't be refunded so that experiment cost about $30.

I have had the OEM Saab rubber floor mats before and those fit perfectly. Before I spend $100, are there any other options for custom fit mats you can recommend for he 9-5?

That sucks that they sold Weathertech "one size fits all" mats, their custom-fit mats are the best out there.

What color do you want? I have two sets of used 9-5 floor mats - Tan and Grey. Both are faded - but intact. Would sell for a fair used price if interested.

Many of our front mat applications are vehicle specific, while others are determined to be the best possible fit for the application from our many shapes and sizes.
I missed that bit of information. I assumed all their mats are custom fit for each vehicle. That's the last time I ordered Weathertech mats. I can get generic fit mats at Walmart for $20. They are still nice and good quality but I guess I expected a perfect fit for for $70. Or perhaps I am making too big of a deal out of the fit. If I keep them, I'll save the $30 so they only cost me $40 in the end.

Jeff, are those rubber mats? Name your price and I'll tell you if it is fair or not.

That was one thing I miss from working at the dealership. We would swap out the accessory rubber mats for carpet ones, remove the roof racks etc. from cars heading for auction, most of the time this stuff would be tossed out by our doll-up/detailing staff, so we would go dumpster diving and retrieve the stuff for our own cars.

i have some great cocoa mats from cocoa mats dot com. Good value, look good and fit well.

I have an aversion to Weathertec. I hate their ads. Who wants to see the owner and big machines in a factory........they must get great deals on ad space from the car books because they have so little advertising. I am just tired of those dumb weathertech ads......rant over.

I got the Saab mats and they fit perfectly as expected. $85 shipped so slightly more than the Weathertech mats but the Saab set also includes the rear mats. I'll keep this in the car year-round. No more carpeted mats with mud, sand, dirt, salt or other stains. Just pressure wash at the local DIY car wash and they are clean again.

I did the same thing, just bought the stock Saab rubber mats and paid 100% more than what they are worth. I have to say though, they fit perfectly
and aren't going to slide around anywhere. Getting them clean and back to looking new is another story though, you have to actually scrub them
with a brush and then spray them with a vinyl cleaner like armor all to get them looking like they just came out of the package. I'm happy I spent the
extra money to get the right mats.
