    Information from Hirsch:

New performance model at the IAA exhibition in Frankfurt - Saab 9-3 2.0T XWD Performance

With the new Saab 9-3 Performance, Hirsch Performance, the Swiss refiner of Saab automobiles, presents a dynamic vehicle tailored to the driver. Not a mainstream product, but instead a vehicle for individualists with a passion for the extraordinary. Those who decide in favour of a Saab Performance can look forward to a driving experience in a class of its own.

The pioneering role of Saab in the field of engine rightsizing is demonstrated by the extremely efficient 2.0 litre four cylinder turbo engine: following the Hirsch Performance treatment, this engine delivers 270 HP (200 kW) and a maximum torque of 390 Newton metres. The self-levelling sports suspension in combination with the advanced Saab XWD four-wheel drive system guarantees an optimal and sporty driving experience.

Cooperation between Saab national representatives and Hirsch Performance

The new Saab 9-3 Performance is another product of the many years of cooperation between Hirsch Performance and the European Saab distribution network. "We have given reacting to specific national requirements special attention. The new Saab 9-3 Performance emphasizes the typical Saab genes even more clearly. The combination of the efficient, 270 HP strong, 2.0 litre, 4 cylinder engine, the advanced XWD system and the sports suspension satisfies the expectations of the sport-oriented customer. The restrained exterior appearance, in combination with the high quality interior, sets new standards and is suited to the brand" René Hirsch explains.

The exterior identifying features include carbon fibre aerodynamic components, a bootlid/roof spoiler, honeycomb grill, stainless steel dual exhaust system and 19" wheels.
The interior of the five-seater, with lots of high quality leather and a clearly structured cockpit, reflects typical Scandinavian design and will satisfy even the most demanding customer.

The state-of-the-art Saab XWD four-wheel drive system provides the driver with a more direct control and a completely new driving experience. The sophisticated electronic control system of the XWD and the electronically-controlled limited-slip differential guarantee precise torque distribution, not only between the two axles, but also between the rear wheels. On the whole, the Saab 9-3 Performance exactly meets the requirements that active people have for a sporty and individual vehicle.

That is a very dangerous place there.

Yep, that dealership is the kind of place where you can do something that despite "her" love of Saab, you can do something that seems logical, practical and fun but then roll in the drive and despite your most careful phrasing .... "Like what do you think of our new toy and I know how much you like the weather band and when I saw this Vig with the WB I couldn't resist for, and with the low miles and all ...

Actually we seem to have to agreed on a budget (semi-beat), TVR so .... I am keeping fingers crossed.

It's for sale again and now offered for € 29.950,- and is at 36.145 km right now. Not bad for a car that was €75K new in 2009.
