Not bad for a 25 year old 8 valve non turbo car.
And no, I was not going downhill, this was on a pretty flat stretch of the A9 Autobahn between Nuremberg and Munich today.

Wow, that's something!
Question for you: when you're not driving your 8v 180 km/h (!), how is your fuel economy? Just wondering how many kilometres per tankful I should expect with an 8v.

For what it's worth, in the US, I've had 2 8v 5 speeds, one, an N/A, got ~19-21 US mpg, my current one, a turbo, seems to be averaging 23-25mpg, mostly highway driving on both accounts. Tuning in k-jet is voodoo that's over my head, the first one certainly didn't run right. The 16v LH system seems to be a big step up when it comes to fuel efficiency.

I calculated my fuel economy at between 22 to 26 mpg, and that is even taking odometer error into account, but not going 180 km/h. That was a one time thing, when I go on the Autobahn I drive no faster than 120 km/h.
