9-3 Driver side heater issue
I bought my 2007 saab 9-3 2.0t used during the warmer weather and it was great. That was until it started getting colder outside. Obviously, the heater became pretty essential. but when I try to turn my heater on, it works in every part of the car (passenger and backseat) except the driver side. It just blows air at me. A couple other problems, not sure if they correlate with the heater issue, but I have a coolant leak and there is a clicking noise when I turn the car off. I'd love some feedback before I get frostbite holding my steering wheel, thanks.

Sounds like a stripped gear tooth on an air control motor, pull the glove box to access and it's probably this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/VALEO-Heate...4383.l4275.c10 but you have to check them all to be sure you only have one that's bad. If it is this one you can usually fix it once by opening the case and retiming the gear a quarter turn. If it's not you can pay the Saab price, or strip the innards from a Valeo air motor from a dozen other cars.
