Feeling through the brake pedal could be warped rotors (does it pull to one side or does it shudder?), worn wheel bearings, worn brake pads, etc. Check those out. Right now.

Clunking on the rear doesn't sound good, could be either a worn bushing or loose lug nuts. I'd check the lug nuts right now too, don't drive if they're loose. Worn suspension bushings you can drive on, but get taken care of soon.

I am sure someone with specific 9-5 experience will chime in later (I have none).

If it's shudder most likely it's warped rotors. It's best to replace them, SAAB only recommends resurfacing if they have a car-mounted lathe, which most shops don't have. If you are up to doing it yourself (not too hard), good, new rotors aren't too expensive.
