You'll have to venture on over to his adventures! (http://saabworld.net/f16/worldwide-a...-moosey-26144/)
I didn't take many pictures besides the first day. Moosey had to go into hiding because I'm now the "owner" of my brother's due to a new job that requires him to travel a lot. So, the dog, Ollie, is a known animal chewer (both the stuffed and the woodchuck variety). So he went into deep hiding and I forgot about him for a week, the 900 was sold gone part way through that week and figured Moosey should be somewhere he can go on Saab rides. Not Xterra rides or working on an engine rebuild (he claims he is afraid to get a stain).
Have fun in DC Moosey! Nice meeting you and I hope you'll be back some day.Free SaabWorld Stickers

Worked a bit this AM and let Moosey read up on today's plans.
A little taste of home!
Anybody guess what that is?
Dash 80.
We are going to spend some time in the city, seeing the stuff and drinking some beers during the day tomorrow.

So these are from mid day Saturday shlepping across Washington DC.
I parked up in a friend's neighborhood at 4th and H NE and we walked down thru Capital Hill and our first stop was Union Station.
Next we headed over to the Capitol
From the Capitol, we looked down the National Mall to where we would end up. The Washington Monument.
On our way down Pennsylvania Ave. we walked by the Canadian Embassy.
We saw the old post office.
The Navy Memorial.
The FBI building.
And made it to the White House.
Then across the back yard to the Washington Monument.
Then headed West to the Lincoln Monument.
We sat for a bit at the top of the stairs and reflected on where we started.
On our walk back to the car we paused to see some WWII veterans visiting their memorial.

Nice to see him (or is it a her?) exploring again. Looks like he went shopping and got a shirt. Probably a good idea because it is getting colder outside.

I saw Ice Cube there on a Tuesday night a few years back.

Hide that moose!
Lord man, better hide that moose. It's the start of the annual hunt in Sweden and Norway!
Sad news to convey. It seems that someone shot his cousin who wandered out of a protected Moose Sanctuary. Now a legal battle has commenced; the hunter who shot him legally was found to be allowed to keep the roasts and chops however the sanctuary is suing he hunter to recover the hide and antlers. One young gal who was a local Lutheran minister opened the moose season with her morning service to open the hunt while wearing a moose costume she found in a local shop.Semper ubi sububi in caput tuum

Wow, looks like Moosey is having quite the trip.
You now have been marked as "crazy man with stuffed moose taking pictures around prominent monuments and buildings" by security and government officials.Free SaabWorld Stickers
