    New Top for Elsa

One of the main weak points of our 1990 convertible was the top which was rather deteriorated. We knew we had to spring for a new one, but we had to sell another car first. Sold the Buick, and now she's in the shop getting a new top. We "opted for" the Sonnedecke top because it was less expensive that the original German fabric, and the installer said it would wear a little better in the harsh AZ sun. (In reality, my wife wants to do all this stuff on the cheap, but it's her car, so I guess it's her option. I couldn't really see much of a difference between the two, except that the German fabric was OEM and the Sonnedecke was not). I guess we'll have to see.

BTW - we went with the black top. She wanted black.

    Pictures to follow.

I think it's the only colour that looks any good on any colour vert. But that's only my opinion.

Car is back - top looks phenomenal - gives the car a whole new look. I'll post pictures when I take some.
