auto shifter bulb

want to change my auto shifter bulb.anyone know what bulb size,name or number it is.prndl is lonely with no light.

You need a 3 to 3.5 watt, 3-1/4 wedge base, 12v automotive lamp. A generic lamp will cost you under $1 and is available at any auto store whereas the official Saab lamp has $13 MSRP. Something like the attached. A 5 watt lamp will melt the plastic PRNDL strip.

Thanks for the info mi-roger. Gonna order them right away I also notice last night that my central locking switch is out also. Does it use the same bulb also?

No, the central locking bulb is an even smaller twist in style bulb. Looks kinda like this but are smaller if I remember right:
