    Bargin of the Week.

Thanks to my eldest last night making a complete mess of the back of the car. Said he felt ill and couldn't hold it in. I've managed to het away with getting a newer interior for the 9-5. Going from the grey fabric, to charcoal leather.
Managed to get hold of a Full interior, with ALL doorcards, headrests and front armrest. Plus as a bonus a Auto Dim mirror. All for £80. I reckon a right BARGIN. The seats are in really good condition that just need a clean, doorcards have a couple of marks nothing major. The donor car was a MY2000. If I was to buy on eBay I'd be looking a £200 plus either collection or delivery.
Can I wire the mirror in as not checked yet for a plug and I don't have a sunroof to wire it into there. I'll post pics of before and after over the next few days, time permitting.
More things change. The more they stay the same.

That sure is a fantastic deal for all of that stuff. I replaced a regular mirror with an auto-dimming mirror in a 9-3 and the connect was already there. Not sure if it is the same with the 9-5.

Had a quick check this morning, there doesn't look to be the wire. On the donor card it came along the same section of wiring for the microphone in the light panel. Mine doesn't seem to have it. Where should I look to wire in. I've had a good look at the front seats to fit the heating pads. It's a tough looking job.. Even for me. So I'm going to pass on the interior untill I can find a heated set. Another reason that I don't want to remove the orginal seats, for leather, then change again for the heated units. Less chance of throwing an airbag light.
