I'd like some opinions
As some of you know, I have a 1966 Mustang that I have been working on for almost 4 years. It's, unfortunately, still not road worthy, mainly due to its lack of interior. Although, I have everything for the interior sitting in my basement waiting to go into the car. I already have a shop in line that's going to reupholster the whole car. The interior kit that I have is all black, and the exterior of the car is bright red.
This is what the interior kit I have would look like when it's in:
(minus the gauge on the dash)
My dilemma is, the guy that's putting it in says he can dye the center inserts red like the exterior of the car for not much more money, and he and my dad say that it would look awesome. But I'm not sure. What do you think?I don't drive fast...I fly slow

The center inserts of the seats or other part of the interior? It's a personal preference but I would keep it all black.

Woops, I forgot to mention. Yes, just the seat inserts.

No.
Keep it black.
Also, I'm not so sure you could dye black leather that red. Real red leather inserts, maybe.
If it were my car, I'd go all black or white.
Ask Imran(moreboost) on TSL how his leather dying went. If I remember correctly, he wasn't pleased with the outcome.

From what I hear, trying to go from black to red is very hard, and usually comes out a very dark color... unless he is going to use some sort of color remover (bleach?), and then dye it. But, I also hear that is very hard on leather, and usually results in your leather drying out rather quickly. Never actually seen it, but just what I've heard when I was researching on my headliner.

Added a poll to the thread. Not sure about the final outcome but it's looking like all black is the favorite amongst Saabers.

Thanks everyone. Yeah, I'm going to stay all black. That's what I'd been leaning toward anyway.
