9-3, 2007, Trionic-8 questions
Hello Forum, so I have the 9-3 with b207E engine and trionic-8 engine management,
since I can't find a clear answer in the Trionics tuning pages (great PDF-manuals though)
I was wondering whether someone of you could answer my next questions:
- does the motor management get influenced by braking,
There are 2 switches on the brake pedal, one for the Brake-Lights and another for the Cruise-Control inhibit
I was wondering whether these switches actuating also influences the fuel delivery,
as with VW-TDi Diesels, where while braking - the fuel injection stops temporaly to profit economy?
- furthermore, seen the Saabs electronics complexity: I was wondering if I install myself aftermarket front
FOG-lights; could I use the yet provided push-button position (which is blanked-off now)
And than probably they will need software activation, so I probably can't do it myself?
