my05 95 vin question
hi all ,was wondering if anyone can confirm the linear model for the 95 saloon was not made for the 2005 year,( only the estate) .as my vin is telling me i have a linear.
all my research on the net is telling me (estate only )so im really frustrated over what model trim my car is.
plus i have a strange trim level for a linear.
9 speaker system with sat nav
carbon fibre look dash and steering wheel
park assist
17inch borbit alloys
plus the normal toys minus sunroof
no heated seats
no locking petrol flap (strange they did this)
saab my05 95 2.0t lpt saloon
and thank you to anyone who even just reads my thread duke

Sounds like a euro version with available options. US all had the sunroof I believe. Plus, the wheels were liklely aftermarket

The 2.0t is the smallest and least powerful engine they offered in the 9-5. So Linear for the model sounds about right with some factory optional equipment and perhaps some owner installed accessoiries like the carbon fiber dash.

thank you for the replies i guess its in the too hard basket for now. no linear for 2005 but saab just keeps the designation number on the vin maybe .
ps i linked some pics of the car might jog an experts memory specially the satnav of which i have not seen another like it thanx again .
foot note
at the end of the day would just like to think this is a VECTOR SE which was put out in 2005.Last edited by 5thduke; 20 August 2012 at 02:49.

Dash is definately owner installed ugly too. That motor has a lot of things you can do to upgrade your performance or you will be fine as is. I would also drop the pan and inspect for sludge, but give the PO care I assume he used the proper sy. oil. But I would find out from him and if not, drop the pan. You navigation is an option or could have been installed aftermarket. It good you live in NZ as this car drive much better North and South than East and West. I bet you didn't know that did you, but it is true. Honest.
