    Ok, I've had that new valve on for a few hundred miles now, and the first couple miles it seemed like it fixed it, but then got to a hill and what do you know? Foghorn attack!
    I'm thinking its either something else, or possibly that the intake without that restrictive airbox is causing more flow through the valve than it can handle without making that sound.
    I do remember on a few occasions with the stock airbox on, that there was a faint hooting sound, but nothing like there is now.

    I replaced mine, worth eeuroparts saabpartssweden diverter valve. The 1st one started leaking at the metal tab insideso I epoxied it and they sent me a new one. Yes you're air box is post of it....I noticed what helped mine is hooking back up the silencer...I don't know if you've done the Trionic 7 faster response update where you route around the solenoid on the firewall, but that definitely makes the footing noise much louder. If u have done this nod, change it back to stock and I bet it stops

    Edit, air box is part of it....to explain in more detail the Trionic 7 faster response update you can Google. It'd on saabtuners.com website. You basically reroute the 4mm line coming off BOV and it helps hanging revs and also helps bov close faster, barely Nouri.noticeable gain, but it makes the hooting noise (not footing) go away if u change back to stock

    U should look on the firewall, and see if the tubes are unhooked, if so there will be a tube coming of throttle body, that is plugged. Google the t7 faster response mod for more details....not sure what else u can do besides buy another BOV

    The tube that connects from the firewall to the valve is kinda disintegrating, so might replace it, i'll check the one coming off throttle body now, tore the center console out so i could remove some stuff from my carpc install; going to move on to a diff radio
