Saab recall clearance letters
Hi All,
I just wanted to know if anyone had any idea how and from where i can obtain recall clearance letters for a Saab 9-5 that I am importing from US. I searched online and called the GM head office here in Canada but apparently they have nothing to do with Saab vehicles anymore.
I think due to the less than friendly nature of the split they were even unwilling to provide me with any information as to who would handle such queries now.
SO has anyone jumped through these hoops before, and gotten the clearance letters. Any help would be much appreciated thanks !!!!

Have you tried going to a (former) SAAB dealer in the US? They should be able to run a report for your VIN that says which recalls were done on your vehicle.
Now: '00 Saab 9-5 Aero Combi - '89 Peugeot 205 CTI - '91 Peugeot 309 GTI
Gone: '87 Saab 900i - '95 Saab 900 SE Turbo

Call Robert in Service at Saab of Memphis. He'd hook you up I think.
