2006 Saab 9-3 Convertible second Fiber Optic Cable location for the rear Amp ?
I have installed the rear Amp in my car and can't find the needed second fiber optic calbe to complete the bus circuit. The first cable ( green ) is part of the narness for the Amp, CD and Nav system and was nicely visible after removing the trunk panels. Saab instructions say there is an unmarked fiber optic that is to be installed in Slot 2. Again, I can't locate it and the Amp will not activate with a complete bus circuit. ( I own a Tech 2 and current data card).
The back side of my question is if there is no other fiber optic cable in the rear, and I have to buy a new one, which unit does it connect with? All units now have a complete link and there are no open slots that I can find.
Thanks

Final Solution:
Ghere is no extra fiber optic cable. What I did is:
1. Called a salvage yard and bought a sectikn of cable with the Saab connector. I was unable to find a simular connector on line
2. Remove the panel by the driver side front door
3. Find fiber optic connection and the unconnected fiber optic cable that comes from the trunk.
4. Remember slot 1 for In and slot 2 for out. Change the dlot in for tke amp 2 Cable.
5. connect salvage cable to amp 1 slot in.
6 connect smo 1 with amp 2 by putting cable in amp 2 slot out
7. Tech / add for sound system premium with 13 speajers
8. If it works put seat back
9. listen and see if all of this was sorth the trouble
