2003 9-5 3.0t Radio not working

I have a 2003 9-5 3.0t with a harmon kardon audio that won't make sound. The fuse on the head unit was changed and that got it to light up, but the sound still won't come out, I am thinking that it may be the amplifier but would like to know if there are any other easy tests or fuses to check first. Where is the amplifier for this model year and how do I get to it? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

same problem - i jump started my car ('01 95 SE) and after went to turn on the radio - didnt work - read the manual - DO NOT JUMP START THE CAR WITH THE RADIO ON - WILL CAUSE SEVER DAMAGE TO THE RADIO - now they tell me - looked for help on you tube and found that the amp may need to be replaced - stereo uses fiber optics. that was about I have - please post if someone has any other fix for this problem.

I think it is pretty easy to access.

Only the Saab 9-3 from '03 through '06 has a fiber-optic audio system. The 9-5 audio is a regular wired system.
