Door Control Module question

2004 linear.

I'm fairly certain that my door control module has bitten the dust. No power to my passenger door.

Do you know if the module is interchangeable with the other doors (non-driver)?

For a replacement, will this require a trip to the dealer or indy for tech II programming?

What's a door control module? Is it something inside the door?

Its the window switch, but it also controls the window, door lock and power mirror. Fortunately mine wasn't dead, I had accidentally unplugged a cable inside the dash while working on my recirculation motor.

I've got exactly the same problem - no power to passenger side (rear) door. I also have the recirculation problem - did you replace the recirc motor? And which plug did you have unplugged that led to no power to the door?

Passenger floor, behind the trim piece at the bottom corner of the door.


I didn't replace it, I took out the front screw, and that let me pull the motor just enough to unhook the door and close the recirc door manually.

I live in Houston, TX (hot and humid) so I use it almost all the time anyway.
