Does anyone know if upgrading my turbo on 01 95 linear will increase HP?

My car smokes a little at startup....going to drop the pan and sludge clean put upgraded PCV system but I know I will eventually have to replace the turbo. I know there are some cheap ones on ebay I found one for $425 rebuilt on turbochargerpros.com it's a rebuilt OEM, think in of getting one of those. Any helpful info is appreciated...I would like to put a better turbo on it to make it faster but dont' want to do any damage, and I've also heard that without tuning the ECU it wouldnt' make much difference...I know a bigger turbo can cause more heat resulting in engine failure...it's a 2001 95 2.3t non-aero with 133k....I'd like to make it faster but it isn't a huge concern if the cost would be significantly more than just replacing with an OEM.

Also I live in Paola KS and trying to find a good place to work on it besides Georges Imports (expensive) or The Saab Doctor (far away) if anybody knows of a person or shop plz let me know.

Also, need to replace my rear 6X9 speaker in a 9 speaker Harmon Kardon, was just going to buy some cheaper 6X9s I found a 6X9 actual sub for about $45 but dont' want to spend a lot of money and have them blow so I thought I'd just buy a cheaper 2 or 3 way speaker and just bypass the tweeter or do nothing since the crossover is already on it...main question is will the Saab amp blow a normal speaker...I thought I had read that they are 2 ohm which I know is not standard
