Hi everyone, I've been looking for a Saab for many years now and I finally got the green light from the wife. I had my heart set on a 9-3 Aero and had a look at the convertibles. After a test drive it wasn't for me so I went for an Aero sedan with a sunroof. I hunted around and found a 2005 in Albury that was over 300 KM's away so I went up to look at it. To my disappointment when I arrived there was no sunroof and I was gutted. While I was there I opened the bonnet and could not believe my eyes. There sitting in front of me was 184kW 2.8 V6. You won't believe how quickly I forgot about the sunroof and closed the deal. Later a VIN check showed they got the year wrong also. It was an early 2006 and I brought it home today. So... I'm here and I like to tinker. First thing is to upgrade some of the speaker drivers and then a Stage 1 upgrade to the ECU. Happy to be aboard and appreciate the collaboration. Cheers, Heinz.

My 2006 9-3 Aero was the fastest and best handling Saab I owned so far. Torque and power never seem to end and it felt like it was driving on rails most of the time. I think you'll have a lot of fun with it.
