2011 9-5 Rear Trunk Lid Light Bar Failure

Hi I have a 2011 9-5 Turbo 4 Premium. The light bar across the top of the trunk is failing, very very dim and right side out completly. Does anyone know of a fix and/or a part number, I am afraid that as these are LED's I am going to have to replace the whole strip.

    Thanks!!

Unfortunately, I know two others in the same predicament and the fix was to replace the whole strip.

If you had a wagon I would be able to help you out as I have a spare LED brake light for a wagon.... Seek out a nice used one my friend. There is no known fix unless you are good with circuit boards and solder.

Except I think he's asking about a 2011 9-5, for which light bars are available to swap out. Saab of Memphis quoted me just under $500 for the entire light bar and the part was available. That was about 6 weeks ago. Cheers.

Oh - I do not think the 2011 part was specified earlier Makes sense now. And yes - there are a few "2011 9-5 Wagons" just not sure of the count.... none were released for sale in the US

None of the NG9-5 Combis were ever sold anywhere in the world, they were all either prototypes or pre-production models.

Similar problem here, but not as bad yet.

Two of the leds, just left of center have failed in mine. I had assumed you could just swap out the bulbs. Disappointing that isn't an option
