Production date
Hey guys,
I'm looking to buy a Saab 9-3 estate from a friend... I have a few questions if you don't mind me asking?
It's a 2005 05 plate Sportwagon, but for some reason I cannot get a car valuation for it online as it says these weren't made until 55 plate, I therefore presume it must have been a ex-demo, registered late July 05? It's got sat nav, full leather, heated seats etc - so perhaps would fit. Also I read these didn't come with electric boot releases on the drivers door, however this car does?
Cheers

There usually is a production month/year on the VIN sticker on the door jamb. Model year 2006 was the first for the SportCombi so it makes sense most have a 55 plate (September 2005 +). But perhaps they started production of the 2006 models in August 2005 and that's why yours has a 05 plate.
