    2002-2005 9-5 XENON/HID TECH2 Settings - Anyone know them?

I have a 2003 9-5 with those lame Xenon's - and I have a Tech2 @ work (Saab Dealer) and I was curious if ANYONE has done or know how to set the Halogen High Beams to work WITH the FULL HID's at the same time. I was told there is a way - but I have not figured it out yet. I already have the lights set to full Euro mode. That part is easy.

    Thanks!

Also - any one got Bulb suggestions for higher output from this lame lights? I am convinced the halogen lights on our 2001 wagon were much nicer and brighter.

Are you talking about this mod? Relay 666 Headlight mod - The Saab Link Forums

If you do this on your car, please write some instructions in the tutorial forum in case you do anything different.

I always found the HIDs on my 2004 and 2005 9-5 to have excellent light output. I would stick with Philips or Osram for new xenon bulbs, they are the best quality.

That may indeed be what I have to do. I will look into that and if I do it I'll post pictures!

Jeff, the relay mod is one option, I did it to my father's car and on my '04, I added in the factory extra light kit, that has a dash switch and a relay which I wired into those halogen bulbs and are active when the high beams are switched on.

    Brad -

Any idea of the part number or source for this "kit?" I'd be interested in doing it right - but again I will try the cheap way first.

P/N is 400107322, not sure how availability is. I bought two kits out of Sweden a while back, put one in the car and the other went into storage.

OK - made the jumper harness and took pictures. Works well in the daylight so far - will know how well it works going home tonight in the dark. I will post up a "how to" later when @ home.
