Doesn't run rough on cold start really, it hasn't gotten that cold here since I've owned the car but if you mean 1st start of the day then no it doesn't run badlyI appreciate all the responses I'm definitely tourqing the cylinder head bolts, I was thinking of ordering new ones because they only 22 dollars I'm sure they are the original bolts, would you suggest buying new ones I spoke to my mechanic and he said retorqing should suffice since that's what the TSB said to do but then I have to wait for the motor to cool completely and I won't have time until this weekend to let it. I don't want to get stuck with a broken bolt but 44 lbs + 90 doesn't seem enough to do it, also not sure if if they'd be here by next weekend from eeuroparts.com last shipment took a while. Anything else I need for the job besides valve cover gasket? Saw there were two small 16mm I'D by 20 mm seals for crankcase breather, but not sure what they are for.

New ones wont hurt, would be a good idea anyway. I think the seal you speak of is for the cc vent nipple. be careful with it. I would try 10/40 next lof . Have you done a compression check? Make sure of the tq specs too 44/60/90 IIRC . If it has been overheated it may have a valve seal issue, but you would have other signs as well. make sure the CC update was done right. Good luck . Doug.

I thought the correct torque was 33/44/90 degree? its not an aero....is this correct? also I didn't buy the bolts because I'm doing it tomorrow and wouldn't have had time for them to ship.....I hate eeuroparts $9.99 shipping no matter how much the weight, maybe that's how they makeup for their low profit margins ? anyhow I will let you know how it goes...thx again!

Yes that is right. If the bolts dont feel right when you take them out dont force it. might break, very unlikely just a heads up. should be ok just do one at a time.
