    Why does it seem like all us Saab techs have turbines chilling in the garage? I have a set, my old boss does and so does one of the other guys...

    we can reconize quality and taste They are a tough wheel - not too heavy and also a durable wheel which doesn't bend easy. It's win win!

    haha I have those same exact rims that I posted a picture of. Thats why I complain about them so much.

    Tell me more about these Aero Turbines, do they fit on 9-5s?

    I've got a set of 2002 9-3 SE 16" 5 spoke wheels you may like - I can sell you those cheap! They are TONS nicer then your sunburst stockers.

    These wheels;

    Mine I would rate about a 7 out of 10 in condition - round and true - have some light to average scratches. I was going to use them on our 9-3 - but I'd be happy to sell them to someone who really needs a nicer look on their car.

    I really dont want this to sound like an insult but I am super low on cash. The most I can offer you is 300 for all of them (before shipping). Its your call, I would literally be in your debt for the rest of my entire life if you sold them to me for that much hahaha but its honestly up to you.

    Should I get therefore snow tires instead of using the stock wheels? It's for a 9-3 four door so a but off topic

    My question is why do people own extra rims just for their snow tires? Like conserve money and material, just have one set of AMAZING rims and have your local tire center change them for you (or do it yourself). Thats what I do

    A second set of wheels is like changing clothes. It also allows different sizes to be used in the summer versus winter. Mounting and dismounting is hard on tires. It is also expensive, maybe $150 per year. Besides, I can then change in snow tires exactly when I want. I can also torque the wheels exactly.

    That is true, changing the entire wheel is a thousand times easier than changing the tire on the wheel. But I think tires today are designed to be mounted and dismounted, just by going to my local Wilson Tires I can estimate that in my region (rural vermont) that 80% of people have 1 set of rims and just switch tires. Keeping that in mind, I think tires are now designed with a much more heavy duty bead to compensate for the removal and application to the wheel.
